Honda CB750K0  1969

With a frame number of CB750-1010369, this bike has been positively identified by Honda UK, the VJMC and the Honda Owners Club GB as the first CB750 produced for the UK. Additionally, and significantly, it is therefore the first 4 cylinder Japanese motorcycle made for the UK. With a build date of October 1969 (we have documented proof from Honda) and first registered in January 1970, the bike was sold by the former Ken Ives Honda dealership in Loughborough Road, Leicester to a biking legend - the late Jack Hutchinson.
Chosen by Honda UK as part of their display at Goodwood in the past, the bike has featured in many books and magazines over the last 15 years.
An integral part of motorcycle history in the UK.

This machine is also featured in:
"The Ultimate History of Fast Bikes" by Roland Brown

"Honda CB750" by Mick Duckworth - part of the Haynes "Great Bike" series

Classic Bike Magazine: July 2009 - CB vs MachIII vs T150V

Above are some scans of the recent feature in CB, where my CB750K0 scored the following accolade "...the CB750 was certainly responsible for a seismic shift in motorcycle design."

The article goes on to describe the bike as more of a tourer than a sportsbike.

Nice period kit, Jim!

More period gear - and a period front number plate.

If you have a very low numbered CB750, please let us know.
